About the IMVPA

The IMVPA was founded in 1992 by Alex Gordon (of the Idaho Motor Pool, and Larry and Garry Carrol, among others. Their vision was to create a place where Military Vehicle enthusiasts could share friendships, activities, parts, and knowledge.

What does the Idaho MVPA do year to year?

You may have seen us on the local news. The Club participates in nearly two dozen events such as parades, military events, socials, car shows, and Veteran's ceremonies!

We have about 140 members from around the country to overseas who own, have restored, and drive vehicles from WW1 to present day.

We also enjoy convoys, trail rides, campouts, and socials. Some of our members participate in living history as well.

Above all we honor and support our Veterans and Veteran's causes.

We are very proud that we have serve and support the Idaho Veterans Home every year.

We always welcome new members.

Owning a military vehicle is not a membership requirement. Some of our members do not own a military vehicle.

They do have a sincere interest in them, wish to honor veterans and enjoy the spirit of this organization.

Reenactors, collectors, history enthusiasts and others are all welcome.
